MacGyver Fridays!!!

Yes, that's right. My obsession with Angus Mac continues. Tuesday season four comes out on DVD. In my search for the lowest price, I searched VM and see it's still redickerus on the pricing scale. I had a post about this before so I will not get into it. Yes, I did buy Galactica for an unmentionable price. But that's different. I had no idea what I was getting into . . . and I wasn't disappointed.

From [info]hobviously  I linked to the Rob Thomas interview and the alternate ending for the last episode (which I forgot about in my glee about Art finally making sense) of VMars. I'm gonna talk about it so if you haven't a clue, just avert your eyes. brought to you by invisotext )</font>

Finally! Art was less than frustrating for once. Last night I got halfway through my chicken wire bust. Plaster is on the base and I think I may get a nice crit in two weeks. I hate those critiques.

I must not visit lego.com. If someone were to buy the Millennium Falcon for me I would not object. MUAHAHAHA. Perhaps later, I'll consider buying it. I just noticed tiny cuts on my hands from that damn chicken wire. I'm beginning to see it from the chickens' point of view now.

You know those stupid online quizzes? Apparently I'm 87% Emo and 53% ghetto, geek and goth. Well, I was in high school. And none of those define me. Those questions were too obvious--and why did I spent 2 minutes taking it? Oh, that's right, the office is slow today. Nonstop for three months and December 1st I get a break.

EDIT: DAMN OFFICE COOKIES! I think the sugar content has made me lame. Lethargic, that's it. Cherrio!

I stayed up fixing my chappaa'i and it's about 80% done. I have until 6 pm to complete it. My shuffle ain't here yet, and imma flip out. My laptop, who has been christened Wentworth or Wenty is down to about 74% battery cuz I was an ass and didn't use the ac adapter. Gah! And what did I do? Set it up and listened to Linkin Park after finding I can't access the DVD-ROM features on my Pirates of the Caribbean dvd.

Wenty is a behemoth. Not only is he 6 lbs, his screen is frakking ridiculous. Thank you, Dell. My tv pales in comparison being 13 inches. Can you see I'm happy? I wrote one line for the novella because that damn chappaa'i needed smoothing. Pics up soon, I hope. My scanner is collecting dust on my desk (at work and home).

Yesterday, I got to see Snapril. Ended up delivering a package to her department as she was going to lunch. We hung out a bit. Monday she phoned me (finally) and we talked about what was new with everyone else (not that I care too much). Same drivel about album release parties and drinking. And they missed me. Well, I thought, does not show. But I was the same ol' Lakie making her laugh. Still angry.

She's called Snapril because 'round the time I was tricked into reading Harry Potter, her and I were camp counselors in upstate NY. Stuck together for two months in the wilderness with no great literature, I read the kids' books. The character Snape, the name was so funny (then) and it fit with her name, April. Before that I was calling her April Ann and singing the PepperAnn song. She has the typical suburban name, April Ann. That's the explanation. Completely random.

I'm so proud of myself, I have a little bit of a backstory for my novella. Wrote it during lunch, in the conference room(where I always eat my lunch). It's good, needs development but good.

I hate Art. I've always hated Art. I mean, taking it and having to create. I'm  not tactically great that way but between last semester and this one, I've had to take it (Basic and 3D) to fill 3 credits. Damn you, Brooklyn College! I have learned about me though--I hate having to think about the whole picture. Last night my prof and I had words about my idea. I scribbled something on paper about the project I had a vision and I was working out one piece of it to see how it would go. She wanted me to do the whole preliminary thing, sketch it and then show her so she could give insight. I think in small details. I have to see a piece to get the whole thing situated. We did a round-robin about the concept until she bashed me into silence. She is not allowed to speak to me whilst I'm working. I swear, I changed concepts three times until I drew from Sg-1 and did the Stargate flushing with the inverted V at the back. Hopefully she doesn't watch TV and none of my classmates dime me out. She said don't remake things already in existence. It's not, technically because the 'V' isn't anywhere on the chappaa'i in the magnitude that is on my scaled down model.

So I sculpted this thing outta plastic clay. In three weeks I have to complete it. Argh! Bah! I hate Art. I don't think that way. I can write the hell outta something. Speaking, meeh; tactical Art, bigger meeh.
