Guess who I met today? Reading Like a Writer's Francine Prose. She seemed a bit scatterbrained a first but I'll chalk it up to having another idea or two brewing in her mind.  She was really nice; an average customer. Then I saw her credit card and on impulse asked if she was "the Francine Prose". She laughed, said yes and asked if I had read anything of hers. I told her I was plowing through Reading and she smiled again.

Actually, I haven't gotten through the book cos it's a difficult read. Not difficult as in content but hard to read because it seems verbose and convoluted. Well, that's I what I remember of it. I bought it months ago and decided to read it right away. I read it on two separate occasions and it mysteriously disappeared into my books-from-work-why-did-I-buy-you pile. I suspect it crawled into my storage space on its own volition.

She comes in often and I only now noticed. I think may become the reader of her work that challenges her cos if the rest is like this, I think her and I have much to discuss Ms. Prose and I. Muahahaha.

I saw that dirty blond kid from Superbad. Y'all know who. He was setting in the back of a van with a skinny Asian kid. It was downtime during filming of some new movie. I care not which, cos it made my trek home treacherous. Celebs, film on sound stages! People gotta walk on the streets.
